Neuro-oncology patients benefit from our ongoing research and treatment breakthroughs at the Dardinger Neuro-Oncology Center. Here, neuro-oncology specialists regularly attack tumors with minimally-invasive, risk-reducing procedures like stereotactic radiosurgery, gamma knife surgery –the only center in central Ohio using this method – and Peacock Stereotactic Radiotherapy. Intra-operative MRI and GPS in the operating room further reduce risks.

The Center’s team of experts is committed to the rapid application of research results in patient care. Our work in promising investigational treatments is supported by millions in ongoing research grants, including a recent $5.5 million grant from the National Institutes of Health to develop an onco-lytic virus treatment for brain cancer.
