Genitourinary

The multidisciplinary approach of our Genitourinary Oncology Program at OSUCCC-James, featuring prostate, bladder, kidney, testicular, male genital and adrenal expertise, provides patients a myriad of cutting-edge treatment options.

Our treatment team includes specialists in medical oncology, radiation therapy and urologic surgery. Our bench to bedside approach means patients are consistently offered newer, safer and more effective treatments as they are developed.

Cancer patients have access to state-of-the-art care at Ohio State’s Center for Advanced Robotic Surgery. A high volume center for robotic prostatectomy, this progressive, world-class program features unmatched expertise in this minimally-invasive procedure. Click here for more details about our center.

In parallel, our radiation oncologists provide precision treatment for several genitourinary cancers with IMRT and brachytherapy.

We are currently offering numerous clinical trials aimed at preventing and reducing the risk of prostate cancer and other genitourinary cancers, including the largest national prostate cancer prevention trial to date.
